The HB Global mining team consists of a number of highly experienced and knowledgeable mining professionals who work closely with Heenan Blaikie LLP's legal Mining Group. HB Global has been engaged in all types of mining related projects and transactions in more than 60 countries. Our team assists clients with finding mineral projects for possible acquisition, undertaking requisite technical due diligence assessments, financing project developments, navigating public policy and permitting issues, creating productive relationships with senior levels of government and developing corporate development strategies.
We advise and represent Canadian and international mineral exploration and mining companies from the early days of mineral exploration activity through to project development, finance, production, marketing and closure.

We also work hand-in-hand with governments to assist in the development of mineral resources, both metallic and non-metallic. We apply our knowledge of mineral policy and mineral strategy, mining and tax laws to help governments gain capacity and a deeper understanding of mineral policy and issues, as well as provide them with in-depth knowledge of the mineral exploration and mining business.
