Jaime de Orbegoso is a Peruvian lawyer with extensive international experience in corporate, mining and general natural resources matters. He has participated in the negotiation and design of corporate and contractual structures for several international transactions. He has advised on privatisation, acquisition and merger processes of several companies, and participated in due diligence processes related thereto.
In 2003, Mr. de Orbegoso worked as a foreign legal consultant with a major law firm in Toronto, and participated in the preparation of legislation passed in Peru to rule the venture capital segment of the Lima Stock Exchange.
Mr. de Orbegoso was a professor of Mining Law at the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas in Lima, Peru, from 2002 to 2005.
